Program Note:

The music for Zones d'accord is inseparable from the choreography; it derives its meaning from the gestures of the dancer and serves to intensify the impact of the dance on the audience. There are three sections, or zones, of the piece (Fragile, Animated, Distorted). As each section progresses, both the visual and sonic aspects of the piece increase in intensity within a formal development that is similar to a process of maturation.
